We are on the lookout for a social media and marketing whizz to work alongside our Marketing and Events team. This role would suit an aspiring, dynamic and forward-thinking person with a strong work ethic and a ‘can do’ attitude. Possibly a recent Graduate with a passion for Social Media, Marketing, Events and Beer! Previous experience in any of these categories is preferred, but not essential. In return you will have the opportunity to shape and develop your skills within this exciting role, in a vibrant, friendly and collaborative team.

Responsibilities

Assisting the Marketing Manager and designer with content creation and social media planning.

Responsibility for social media scheduling, maintaining an active social media presence and engaging with audiences across all active channels.

Assisting with the management and development of the e-marketing database, creation and development of mailers and e-commerce assets.

Assisting with development of content for the website and management of the blog/news area.

Administrative marketing duties such as coordination of marketing materials, promotional merchandise, organisation of marketing assets, management of the marketing inbox and assisting with all marketing enquiries.

Supporting the Events and Marketing coordinator with marketing and social assets for events.

Attendance and support with the coordination of events.

 

Desirable Skills and Experience

Up to date knowledge of social media channels including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tik-Tok, LinkedIn etc, e-marketing tools and scheduling platforms and the overall digital landscape.

Ability to recognise and develop new opportunities with a strong desire to contribute to the overall business strategy.

Skilled communicator, both written and verbal with particular attention to detail.

Creatively focused with a passion to learn and develop.

Excellent planning, time management and organisation skills.

Able to work flexible hours, as our Social Media accounts need to be monitored 7 days a week and some events are held in the evening and at weekends.

A keen interest in craft beer is desirable as is previous work experience working with multiple social media channels.

 


The role is partially office based in Bakewell with some flexibility for working from home.

Monthly staff beer allowance and 50% staff discount on food and beer are included with the role.

Salary range is circa £21- 23k subject to experience.
