A few of our favourite places...

We're regularly asked the whereabouts of our beer so we thought it was about time we featured a few of our favourite spots across the country in which you can settle down with a Thornbridge beer.

We asked George Tims and James Buxton from our Sales team to share some of their highlights.

Salt Horse – Edinburgh

Located just off the royal mile smack bang in the centre of Edinburgh, this craft beer bar and bottle shop is one of my favourite places to pop my head in when visiting, whether it’s showcasing some of our rarer “Year of Beer” keg releases, having Lukas on the lager taps or Big Easy as the low alcohol alternative, if you’re beyond the wall, this is the place to go.

The Wigmore - London

The bar next door to the famous Langham Hotel, it would be easy to be distracted by the fabulous interior and wine list but now you know there is always one Thornbridge beer on tap. Typically it’s our classic English bitter - Lord Marples - but sometimes they’ll have a surprise up their sleeves such as Jaipur or AM:PM. Why not seek out this majestic London venue and grab a classic pint of cask beer.

Harvey Leonard’s - Glossop

I’ll start by talking about the great owners of this place. Steven and Suzanne are two of the nicest customers I’ve had the pleasure of working with and not only that but they’ve made a fantastic beer and wine emporium just off the high street off Glossop. We’ve worked with Harvey Leonard’s for a number of years and they’ll always be pouring our Koln Style Beer, Tzara (my personal favourite) along with Green Mountain. Don’t worry if you can’t stay, they have hordes of great wine and beer to take out.

Market Halls Victoria - London

We all know the beauty of being able to grab the perfect meal and perfect beer alongside each-other right? Well, Market Halls Victoria, just outside of Victoria Station does that and much more! We’re proud to be pouring Green Mountain permanently alongside friends of ours, Harbour Brewing and Siren Craft, in a venue that is 3 stories high containing 11 kitchens, 3 bars and a roof terrace! Weekend in the city? Sorted!

Boozehound - Sheffield

Located in the bustling Kelham Island area of Sheffield, Boozehound is part of the innovative Cutlery Works food market. Showcased with bright neon on the top floor of the market, Boozehound pour Green Mountain and Lukas permanently on keg whilst stocking a range of our bottles, cans and casks. Now you know, keep your eyes peeled for our monthly food and beer pairings.

Darley Abbey Wines – Derby

Darley Abbey Wines is a beautiful bar hiding away within Darley Abbey Mills - a stones throw from Derby city centre. It is truly charming with a rustic decor most places can only dream of. Not only do they have three Thornbridge beers pouring permanently but also some of the best wine the world has to offer. Just when you think it can’t get better, the team have recently the opened the cotton works. By day The Cotton Works will open as a café with plans in place to transform it into a Mediterranean bistro in the evenings. Historical buildings, great food, delicious coffee and of course - Thornbridge beer! What’s not to love?

The Assembly - Urmston

New territory for us for at Thornbridge. We recently installed two cask lines to this exciting craft beer bar. These cask lines have added to the already diverse beer range seeing us pour classics like Brother Rabbit and Jaipur to some of our more limited releases like Cocoa Wonderland and Jamestown!

Spiritland Royal Festival Hall - London

Sleek, cool and contemporary. A festival of great food, drinks and most importantly music. A new opening to the already busy Southbank, if you’re looking to lay low amidst the rush of central London this is the place. Sit outside on the wooden benches with a cool Green Mountain and a small plate and watch the world pass by.

KØBENHAVN - Halifax

A sister pub to the award winning Victorian Craft Beer Café, KØBENHAVN is a beautiful craft beer bar in the centre of Halifax, West Yorkshire. Situated under the glass arcade, just yards away from historical Piece Hall. You can find 24 keg lines pouring some of the best craft beer from around the world (including Thornbridge!) as well as 6 cask lines for that traditional hit. A real gem.

The Deva Tap - Chester

The Deva Tap is one of our favourite places to grab a beer in Chester and only a five minute stroll (or a merry skip) from the station. With a constant selection of cask and keg beers there is always something to take your fancy. "Cough *green mountain* cough" the guys behind the bar are super friendly and love to chat beer. Sounds great right? Well wait until you taste the food…
