We have found that our Imperial IPA, Halcyon, provides a fantastic canvas for different fruit additions that really accentuate the big tropical characters already present from the generous hopping we use. Blood orange seemed like a perfect one to use, with its distinctive sweetness balancing beautifully with the grapefruit and tangerine character already present. The dry and thirst quenching bitterness in the finish makes this a fantastically balanced beer..
